    Larry Tackett

Larry Tackett grew up on a farm where knowing how to fix things was a necessity. As a youth he got to work with and learn from the many craftsmen that worked on building his Mother’s dream home. He has used that knowledge and skills throughout his life in remodeling houses, repairing broken equipment, and maintaining clients homes. He has bought and sold real estate and worked his way through graduate school as a handyman. During the pandemic he began helping friends repair and maintain their homes and discovered the wealth of knowledge on YouTube which he used to refresh his skills. It was this introduction to the many skilled builders, carpenters, technicians, and real estate entrepreneur educators that he got the idea for curating All About Your DIY House: A Video Manual for How to Buy, Build, Renovate, Remodel, Repair, and Maintain Your House.

I was very impressed with the level of detail in this book. There’s so much that may need to be repaired in a home and this book covers every angle. Even central vacuum systems! I am recommending this book to every homeowner I know. And the best thing is that it will be updated free of charge!
